Poughkeepsie Underwear Factory
We highly recommend that if you haven’t seen the renovated Poughkeepsie Underwear Factory on Main Street, you give yourself a treat soon!
The redevelopment of the Poughkeepsie Underwear Factory is the anchor project in Hudson River Housing’s work to revitalize the Middle Main Street corridor. Hudson River Housing renovated this three story, 22,000 square foot building as mixed-use, with two thirds consisting of apartments, and one third planned as a commercial community hub. Their vision is to bring the rich bounty of arts and food in the Hudson Valley into the city of Poughkeepsie, and to use it as an educational tool and community connector. This award-winning pro made amazing strides over the past year, securing anchor tenants and formalizing our plans. The Underwear Factory has been opened since March 30th, 2017, and they want the whole City of Poughkeepsie to be part of it!
